This week marked new dynamics for the National Youth Agency (AKR), with fruitful meetings paving the way for fresh opportunities to support Albanian youth.
The Director of AKR, Ms. Sara Bodo, held several meetings with international partners, focusing on projects that empower young people and guide them toward real opportunities within the country.
With the British Council, discussions focused on the “Alternative Pathways” program, which aims to strengthen youth through media, community engagement, and awareness-raising on the risks of irregular migration. This represents a concrete step toward building safe and sustainable pathways for their future.
With UNFPA and UNDP Albania, new grounds for collaboration were set within the regional initiative “Youth for Inclusion, Equality and Trust”, in support of the UN Youth, Peace and Security Agenda. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring youth participation in local decision-making, particularly in the municipalities of Kamëz and Elbasan.
These developments clearly demonstrate the commitment of AKR and its international partners to work together for a safer, more inclusive, and European future for Albanian youth.
