“Heritage Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow,”
The Ishmi Fortress was the first stop for the youth on the first day of the activity “Heritage Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow,” where they learned about the history of this important monument of Albanian cultural heritage. From the height of the fortress, the young people enjoyed the wonderful landscape, offering a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea, fields, and mountains stretching from Tirana to Ulcinj.
Next, we continued with a visit to the ancient amphitheater of the city of Durrës, the largest and most important not only in Albania but also in the wider region. This amphitheater, distinguished for its Roman architecture and special historical values, is more than a valuable asset of cultural heritage in Albania.
