The National Youth Agency (NYA) conducted a training session in Burrel with members of the Local Youth Council (LYC) of the Municipality of Mat, focusing on the Manual for the Establishment and Functioning of Local Youth Councils, as well as on their role in the implementation of the Youth Guarantee.
This activity represents an important step toward strengthening local youth structures and enhancing interinstitutional cooperation for the development and implementation of more effective and inclusive youth policies.
The drafting of the Manual and the Guide was made possible by World Vision Albania in cooperation with the National Youth Agency, following a broad consultation process with young people, LYC members, experts, and youth workers, ensuring an approach grounded in real needs and good practices.
Trainings with Local Youth Councils will continue in other municipalities, aiming to further strengthen youth participation in decision-making and improve local youth representation mechanisms.
