NYA participates in the Regional Conference “Pathways to Youth, Peace and Security and Women, Peace and Security: Regional perspectives, experience & knowledge”

NYA participated in the Regional Conference “Pathways to Youth, Peace and Security and Women, Peace and Security: Regional Perspectives, Experience & Knowledge,” with participants from various Western Balkan countries, as well as representatives from national and international institutions.

Organized by UNFPA & UNDP in North Macedonia, in cooperation with UN Women Albania, all participants came together to discuss the common challenges and shared perspectives of youth in the region.

This conference was held within the framework of the regional project “Youth for Participation, Equality and Trust,” focused on empowering young people to drive positive change and promote social cohesion in the societies and communities they live in across the region.

The National Youth Agency shared the perspective related to the Albanian legal and institutional framework in advancing the two UN agendas: “Youth, Peace and Security” and “Women, Peace and Security,” and emphasized the institutional commitment to involve young people in the drafting and implementation of policies that directly impact the improvement of their lives.
