Jesmina Sengla, Youth Voice Network of Organizations
Jesmina has been a civil society activist for 5 years. She volunteers as a Coordinator of Peer Educators at the Network of Organizations "Voice of Youth" and works as a project coordinator at SCiDEV, where she is responsible for programs aimed at strengthening the advocacy and communication capacities of young people. Throughout her journey in civil society, Jesmina has been engaged as a mentor to children from the Roma and Egyptian community at the Association "Wear My Shoes" and has been a board member of the Youth Council of the United States Embassy in Albania. The contribution she is most proud of is the conception and implementation of the "Every Day is Women's Day" project together with her colleagues from the Youth Council of the American Embassy. The values that Jesmina actively supports in her daily work are social justice, gender equality, community involvement in political decision-making and data-based decision-making. Her priorities, if she is elected as a member of the KKR, will be to increase the information of young people on the bodies provided for in the Youth Law, increase the visibility and strengthen the capacities of KVR members, as well as support the objectives of the National Youth Strategy that have focusing on the inclusion of young people from marginalized groups.
