Youth as Agents of Peace and Security in Albania

We were pleased to take part in the conference “10 Years of UN Security Council Resolution 2250 – New Perspectives of UNSCR 2250 in Albania,” organized by WCDCA. The event highlighted the essential role of young women and men as agents of peace, security, and positive change in society.

The conference was supported and enriched by the participation of the National Youth Agency, as well as international and national partners, including the OSCE, UNDP, UN Women, RYCO, and representatives of civil society. During the event, a practical roadmap was presented aimed at strengthening youth engagement in peacebuilding and security processes in Albania.

This initiative represents an important step toward building a more inclusive and sustainable society, where young people play an active role in decision-making and peacebuilding.
