Berat – A City of History and Inspiration for Youth
Berat became the center of an important exchange between young people from the three northern districts, who shared the challenges, experiences, and success stories of the Local Youth Councils (KVR). This meeting served as a step towards strengthening youth cooperation and increasing the impact of young people in decision-making!
What was achieved?
Empowering the LYC (Local Youth Councils) to be better represented in decision-making processes.
Exchange of best practices for involving young people in local governance.
Creation of new networks for joint projects and initiatives.
The participants explored the National Iconographic Museum "Onufri" and the Berat Castle, getting a closer look at the history, art, and rich culture of the city.
This project was implemented by the National Youth Agency (AKR) and funded by the program “Alternative Pathways – Reducing Illegal Migration from Albania to the United Kingdom,” supported by the British Council in Albania.
