The National Youth Agency participated in the fourth edition of Youth Policy Lab 2025, held in Tirana on the theme “Disinformation & Media Literacy”, organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) with the support of the European Union. The event brought together public institutions, youth organizations, and field experts to address the challenges of disinformation and the need for quality media education for young people.
During the sessions, two main priorities for Albania were identified:
- Empowerment of young people with advanced skills in online research and safe use of artificial intelligence.
- Establishment of regional standards to promote a more responsible and ethical culture among influencers in the digital space.
The National Youth Agency was selected as co-chair of the National Expert Group, thereby enhancing its role in shaping youth policies and supporting young people in addressing the phenomenon of disinformation.
