One minute monologue
From November 10th to 14th, at the "Agimi" Art Center the "One Minute Monologue" workshop will be held for the first time from November 10th to 14th at the "Agimi" Art Center, organized by the Creative Industries Agency of the Municipality of Tirana and Filmmakers Europe. This is a great opportunity for professional actors from Balkan countries to present their art directly to Casting Directors from the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA) and Spotlight.
37 professional actors were selected from nearly 800 applicants to participate in the ACTORS LAB.
The LAB includes a 3-day intensive workshop with participants who were invited to Tirana.
Participants will build connections and learn how to improve their international visibility and prepare for global opportunities. Practical Learning, Networking, and Career Development – these are just some of the benefits of the Actors' LAB.

The 2024 Book Fair
On the dates 13-17 Nobember 2024 will be held “27th Book Fair” at The Palace of Congresses, Tirana. “Book fair” is the cities most important cultural eventwhich has always attracted not only locals but also tourists from all over the world. For Albanian publishers and independent authors, it is the greatest opportunity to promote their works to the public, but for the latter as well, this major event is a delightful experience, offering a deeper insight into Albanian culture.
In fact, people can learn more about Albania and connect directly with its past, present, and future through literature, from the youngest authors to the oldest authors now.

“The Return of the Dead Army”
On November 11, 2024, at 18:00, at Jordan Misja Street, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of International Year of Liberation, The Summer Theater at PDSH will host a film screening titled “The Return of the Dead Army”, directed by Dhimiter Anagnosti (1989).
Based off the book of the same title written by Ismail Kadare, the plot tells the story of a general and a Italian priest that arrive in Albania to repatriate the remains of soldiers killed during the war.. The general, along with the priest ordered from Beti, search for the bones of her dear husband, a well known colonel. The discover that he had raped a young girl and was late killed by the girls mother, an older woman by the name of Nice.
